ALPHA PHIFA

Every fall, the sisters of Iota Lambda host Alpha Phifa, a co-ed soccer tournament benefitting the Alpha Phi Foundation. Teams compete in a bracket style tournament for hours of fun, competitive play for the Alpha Phifa trophy! All entry fees benefit the Alpha Phi Foundation and women’s heart health. It’s always a fun time with music, snacks, cheering, and friends.

RED DRESS GALA

Red Dress Gala is one of the best times every year to be an Alpha Phi! Every Spring, we host RDG to raise money and awareness for the Alpha Phi Foundation’s mission to support women’s heart health. Red Dress Gala is a fun-filled and elegant brunch that includes great food, entertainment, raffles, silent auctions, and so much more! The event is a great way for our sisters to show our parents, grandparents, siblings, other family members and friends why our organization and philanthropic efforts mean so much to us.

HUSKYTHON

HuskyTHON is one of the best nights of the year at UConn, and Alpha Phi is lucky to have a very special team that works year round to raise money for the 18 hour dance marathon! HuskyTHON raises money year round for Connecticut Children’s, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The Alpha Phi Team helped our community become the #1 school in monetary growth fundraising this past year by surpassing our goal, raising over $45,000. Not only are we proud to be one of the top 5 fundraising teams of 2019, but we also held the highest raising fundraiser!

MAC AND PHI'S

Mac and Phi’s is our favorite Late Night fundraiser every year! The sisters of Alpha Phi cook pounds of homemade Mac and Cheese in our very own home in Husky Village.  to host an “all you can eat” style event in which the proceeds benefit our foundation! The sisters of Alpha Phi also often host bi-monthly Late Night events throughout the school year to raise money for HuskyTHON in addition to our philanthropy.
